Our Focus for the Initial Gathering
In this initial program we’ll explore useful tools, from the discipline of Human Performance Technology (HPT) — tools designed to help you recognize and solve workforce performance problems. We will examine why people don’t do what they’re expected to do, discuss key factors for improving workforce performance, and do some problem solving with real-life case studies from Bay Area managers. We’ll also begin setting the stage for future NBMF gatherings by considering common manager competencies and determining which ones to focus on next.
